Chaffey College’s Career Education programs provide you with experiential learning, career exploration and overall success. Engineering has always been the partner of science, seeking to improve the lives of humankind. Powerful devices and materials for the health care field resulted in the foundation of biomedical engineering. The need to create tiny yet powerful devices has spawned nano-technology. Our need to co-exist holistically with technology has led to environmental engineering. You will be able to study all of these sub-fields through our engineering program. This program will prepare you for your chosen career path in radio, television production, motion picture industries and/or screenwriting. After completing the broadcasting certificate program, you’ll be prepared for entry-level work in the radio, television, motion picture and entertainment industries. Working in the aviation industry offers many benefits, including inexpensive, if not free, travel year-round. Our AMT program is a 2-year FAA-approved curriculum. You can qualify to take the California Real Estate Salesperson exam after taking only three courses in our business department. The real estate A.S. degree is intended to prepare you to work in the real estate business. The real estate A.S. degree or the real estate certificate will prepare you for the California Real Estate Broker license exam. Our courses provide a solid grounding in the business of real estate, including real estate principles, real estate practice, escrow, appraisal, accounting, legal aspects of real estate and property management.
The Supply Chain Management Degree prepares students for a career in the logistics industry. The Dental Assisting Program is accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation and approved by the Dental Board of California. Students receive a comprehensive education including dental sciences, hands-on practice laboratory, dental radiation safety certification, coronal polishing and sealant certificates, clinical experience in a community dental practice, state-of-the-art technology, dental business management preparation, and familiarity with dental specialty practices.

This course is designed to certify students as California State Emergency Medical Technicians and gain employment as an ambulance driver, ambulance attendant, or ER Technician. After successful completion of this course, students will be authorized to take the National Registry (NREMT) examination. The EMT program is an intensive 18-week course or an eight-week summer course, consisting of classroom lectures and manipulative skills practice. During this course, students will participate in clinical rotations at Hospital and ambulance field experience.
The Home Health Aide program is a state certified add-on certificate to the CNA certificate that prepares students for entry level positions with home health agencies. The Home Health Aide courses prepare the CNA to provide care independently in the patient’s home or in assisted living, independent living, and hospice environments. To enter the Home Health Aide (HHA) program, you must have passed the state CNA exam. In order to successfully complete the state HHA certification process, an active California State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate must be provided to the Nursing Assistant Program.
The dietary services supervisor (DSS) certificate program will allow you to work side by side with dietary service supervisors and registered dietitians at some of the finest acute care and long-term care facilities in the Inland Empire.
