Workshops Proposals Needed for Annual Counselor Conclave

Hundreds of K12 and community college counselors come today to unlock their unique counselor archetype and equip themselves with the power tools they need to thrive in our rapidly evolving world.

The Inland Empire/Desert Regional Consortium (IEDRC) will host its annual Counselor Conclave on Monday, Feb. 24, at the Riverside Convention Center, where hundreds of K12 and community college counselors will unlock their unique counselor archetype and equip themselves with the power tools they need to thrive in our rapidly evolving world.

Presentations are still needed and are due Friday, Jan. 17. Empower your colleagues with innovative strategies that align with our “Tools for 21st Century Counselors” theme. Submit your workshop proposal today through this Google form.

Workshops should align with one of the conference’s workshop tracks designed for the 21st century tools counselors need.

  • The Changing Landscape of Work and Careers
  • The Importance of CTE for Student Engagement and Exploration

Dr. Laurie Scolari, Vice President of Student Services at Foothill College in Los Altos, will deliver the engaging keynote “Authenticity Unleashed: Reconnecting Counselors with Their Inner Spark.” The keynote will explore how authenticity in the workplace can help counselors feel more engaged, fulfilled, and connected to their vital work with students.
