The new CTE Complex at Barstow Community College includes fully equipped workshops for Automotive Technology and Diesel Technology programs, two classrooms, a fully equipped open lab for Electrical and Industrial Maintenance programs, along with administration offices and a conference room.

In recognition of National Apprenticeship Week in November, Moreno Valley College and the City of Moreno Valley, along with various regional partners such as LAUNCH, held the 2nd annual Inland Empire Apprenticeship Expo. Students from the Desert Sands Unified School District (DSUSD) and College of the Desert (COD) recently teamed up with the Southwest Carpenters Union to build a tiny house on wheels funded by California Community Colleges’ Strong Workforce Program. 
Mt. San Jacinto College’s (MSJC) Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program is unique, to say the least. Among being one of the top DMS programs in the United States, it is also the only DMS program in the Inland Empire within the California Community College system.
